Sales Manager Full Time

Job Title: Sales Manager

RPO Recruitment’s client, in the packaging industry, are seeking a talented and experienced Sales Manager to join their team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in packaging sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the packaging industry
• Manage a team of sales representatives, setting targets and providing coaching and mentoring as needed
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients and prospects, identifying new business opportunities
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, providing regular updates and insights to the senior management team
• Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery to clients
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value of our products and services
• Prepare and manage sales budgets, ensuring targets are met and profitability is maintained

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
• Proven track record of success in packaging sales, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels
• Sound knowledge of the packaging industry, including industry trends, technologies, and competitors
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events
