Retail Buyer – Retail Full Time

RPO Recruitment is on the lookout for a detail-oriented and strategic Retail Buyer to join a leading retail client. This role entails efficiently selecting and procuring a diverse range of products while ensuring that the selection aligns with market trends and customer demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Negotiate with suppliers for the best possible pricing and terms.
• Manage inventory levels effectively to maximize sales potential.
• Collaborate with marketing teams for promotional campaigns.
• Ensure timely delivery of products and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
• Prepare purchase orders and repair any discrepancies to maintain accuracy in orders.
• Track sales data, maintain performance reports, and adjust buying strategies accordingly.

• Degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a retail buying role.
• Proven negotiation and analytical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and inventory management systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Passion for retail and keen understanding of consumer behavior.
