Industrial Engineer – Liquid Packaging Full Time

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company. As an Industrial Engineer, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and improving manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify areas for improvement
• Manage production schedules and coordinate services to optimize productivity
• Analyze employees’ tasks and responsibilities, identifying procedures or tools to enhance productivity
• Implement process improvements and technological upgrades to increase efficiency
• Design control systems to minimize costs and production issues
• Develop design and production standards in collaboration with management and users
• Prepare material and equipment lists, purchase orders, cost analyses, and production reports
• Design facility layouts and determine personnel requirements
• Train staff on new processes and provide instructions and manuals
• Maintain process documentation and ensure accurate production reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as an Industrial Engineer in the Packaging industry
• Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues
• Organizational and documentation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office

Benefits

Salary: R540k – R420k per annum
