RPO’s client is actively seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team in Roodepoort, Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the manufacturing industry, leading production teams, ensuring quality standards, and driving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide production staff to ensure work is completed efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure production meets quality specifications and company standards.
- Monitor machines to ensure optimal operation and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Conduct safety checks and enforce adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Manage materials handling both inside the shop and outdoors as required.
- Collaborate with the dispatch team to ensure timely deliveries.
- Track downtime, plan maintenance, and ensure smooth production flow.
- Provide leadership, address absenteeism, and manage disciplinary matters.
- Promote a “right first-time” approach, driving initiatives to reduce waste.
- Report and process safety incidents and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train and develop production employees to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Production Supervisor in the manufacturing industry.
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification (minimum requirement).
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to monitor and maintain machine performance and quality output.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work overtime as required.
