Systems and Risk (Operations) Manager Full Time

RPO’s client is seeking a Systems & Risk (Operations) Manager to join a leading supplier of steel products in Gauteng. The company specializes in sourcing, processing, and distributing steel to a broad range of industries. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing operational systems and managing risk to ensure optimal efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement risk management strategies across all operational systems.
• Monitor and assess operational processes to identify potential risks and inefficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews of systems and operations.
• Collaborate with various departments to align risk management with business objectives.
• Provide leadership and training to staff on risk mitigation practices and systems optimization.
• Manage incident reports and ensure swift resolution of operational risks.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for operational processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in systems and risk management, preferably in the steel or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of operational systems and risk management frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and communicate effectively at all levels.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and operational audits.
