Production Supervisor Full Time

RPO’s client is seeking a skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join their team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and production management, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production operations to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing processes.
• Supervise and manage production staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet deadlines and maintain workflow.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet industry standards and customer expectations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues that may arise, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and quality assurance, to optimize production processes.
• Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation for management review.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
• Relevant qualification in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
