New Product Developer – 3 month contract – Cape Town Contract

RPO Recruitment is seeking a talented New Product Developer to join our client’s team in Cape Town on a 3-month contract. Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of new products from concept to launch.
• Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and quality assurance.
• Develop and test product formulations, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer expectations.
• Source and evaluate raw materials, suppliers, and packaging solutions.
• Document and manage all product development processes, including testing, compliance, and approvals.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure successful execution within set deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Product Development, or a related field.
• Proven experience in new product development, preferably in the food, beverage, or FMCG sector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project management and communication abilities.
• Understanding of industry regulations and quality control standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
