A dynamic manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Production Planner with a strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, and a commitment to excellence to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape. The ideal candidate should be results-oriented, eager to learn, and able to thrive in a collaborative, open-plan office environment. This role requires an individual with exceptional planning and organisational skills to ensure optimal production efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Plan and manage production schedules to meet customer and internal deadlines
Liaise with various departments to ensure accurate and timely production coordination
Monitor inventory levels and initiate procurement or production as needed
Ensure production targets are achieved and maintained
Generate regular reports on production metrics and planning outcomes
Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company standards
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment
Requirements:
Proven experience in a production planning role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Confident communicator with the ability to work independently and in a team
Proficient in relevant planning and scheduling software/tools
Driven, hardworking, and customer-focused with a willingness to build a long-term career
