Job Title: Forklift Driver

RPO Recruitment’s client, in the packaging industry, are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be safety-conscious, and have previous experience operating a forklift in a fast-paced packaging environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to safely and efficiently move materials and products around the packaging plant
• Load and unload trucks and containers with packaging materials and finished products
• Perform daily equipment checks and maintenance as needed
• Keep accurate records of inventory and materials movement
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed

Requirements:

• Valid forklift operator certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or packaging environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
