Warehouse & Production Supervisor Full Time

RPO’s client is seeking a Warehouse & Production Supervisor for their operations in Gauteng. The client specializes in the steel industry, providing high-quality steel products to a diverse range of industries. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing warehouse and production activities, ensuring efficient workflow, inventory control, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse and production operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and manage stock rotation.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of materials.
• Manage and train warehouse and production staff, ensuring optimal performance and development.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet customer demands.
• Oversee the maintenance of equipment and facilities to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Warehouse & Production Supervisor, preferably in the steel or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse and production management practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce them effectively.
