Shop Manager – Bloemfontein Full Time

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Shop Manager to join our client’s retail team in Bloemfontein. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and results-driven individual to lead store operations, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive business growth. Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth functioning
• Lead, motivate, and manage store staff to achieve sales targets and excellent customer service
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure stock control and replenishment
• Implement store merchandising, layout, and displays in line with brand standards
• Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations
• Conduct regular reporting on sales performance, store metrics, and staff development
• Manage cash handling and store banking processes

Requirements

• Matric certificate (Grade 12)
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Retail Management or Business Administration is advantageous
• Proven experience as a Shop Manager or in a similar leadership role within the retail sector
• Strong understanding of sales, merchandising, and customer service practices
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Computer literacy and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Passionate about people development and customer engagement
