Granite Cutter Full Time

RPO Recruitment is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Granite Cutter to join our client’s team in East London. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately cut and shape granite and other stone materials according to specifications.
• Operate and maintain cutting equipment, including saws, grinders, and polishers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project requirements.
• Ensure precision in measurements and cutting to achieve the desired finish.
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Granite Cutter or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in operating cutting and polishing tools and machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and best practices.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy materials when required.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
