RPO Recruitment’s client is looking for an Electrical Foreman to join their team in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with electrical machinery and installation regulations, lead a team of Artisans, and maintain availability of electrical systems crucial to production.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with electrical machinery and installation regulations
Provide leadership and mentorship to Artisans, learners, and apprentices
Maintain availability of electrical systems for sugar, fibre, and electricity production
Contribute technical expertise to project work
Manage budgeting and capital processes
Implement planned maintenance methodology
Participate in standby duties
Monitor and maintain Bestime system
Requirements:
Grade 12, N6 qualification, and Trade Test certified
3–5 years post-apprenticeship experience as an electrician in a heavy industry environment
Proficiency with SAP
Strong technical skills with leadership, team collaboration, and communication capabilities
Sound knowledge of electrical safety standards and best practices
