Job Summary:
RPO Recruitment’s client are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Field Sales Manager to oversee all retail sales activities in the Alberton area for their food manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share in the retail sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share in the retail sector
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retail customers and key accounts
• Manage and coach a team of field sales representatives to ensure sales targets are met
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats
• Analyze sales data and market research to assess performance and make informed decisions
• Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to introduce new products and promotions to the retail market
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our products and industry trends
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance and market trends

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail sales management within the food manufacturing industry
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
