Production Manager – Centurion, GP Full Time

RPO Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to join a leading manufacturing company located in Centurion, Gauteng. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the production operations, ensuring efficient processes, and maintaining high-quality standards across all manufacturing lines.

Your primary responsibilities will include managing production schedules, supervising staff, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance. You will work closely with various departments to align production goals with the company’s overall objectives, ensuring deadlines are met while adhering to safety and quality regulations.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day production operations and staff management
• Develop and implement production schedules and plans
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and quality standards
• Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve production goals
• Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in manufacturing
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proficient in production planning and inventory management
• Knowledge of safety and quality regulations
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
