Procurement Officer – Manufacturing Industry – R400K – R300K Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client in the Manufacturing Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Procurement Officer to join their team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

Responsibilities:

• Order non-stock items, consumables, repairs & maintenance, packaging, cleaning material, and PPE gear
• Monitor and maintain stock ordering levels
• Track order reports on a daily and weekly basis
• Generate purchase orders
• Generate report variances and meet with departmental heads
• Perform all associated admin functions relevant to the role
• Conduct inter-branch procurement meeting on a weekly basis
• Support senior buyer in international buying

Requirements:

• Minimum supply chain qualification or similar
• 3 years ceilings and partitions industry experience /similar– advantageous
• Code 8 driver’s license + own reliable transport
• Ability to start at 7:00 am
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
• Elevated technical ability for ceilings and partition /hardware products
• Ability to converse at all levels
• Attention to detail
• Own reliable transport
