Junior Production Manager – Meyerton Full Time

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Production Manager to join our client’s dynamic manufacturing team in Meyerton. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with a passion for production operations and team leadership to step into a pivotal role within a growing business.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Production Manager in planning and overseeing daily production operations
• Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and adherence to safety and quality standards
• Coordinate with various departments including logistics, maintenance, and quality assurance
• Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and material usage
• Identify bottlenecks or delays in the production process and recommend solutions
• Support staff training and performance development initiatives
• Enforce company policies and health & safety regulations on the production floor
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive productivity and reduce waste

Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
• National Diploma or Degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (advantageous)
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Working knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
• Computer literate (MS Office; ERP systems beneficial)
• Energetic and eager to grow into a senior role within the company
