RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Procurement Clerk to join our client, a well-established company in Cape Town. The Procurement Clerk will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement team by managing purchasing processes, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, equipment, and services to meet company needs
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, prices, and other procurement data
• Support the procurement team in evaluating supplier performance and negotiating contracts
• Coordinate with various departments to identify procurement requirements and ensure timely delivery
• Communicate with suppliers to manage orders and resolve any issues
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory management and forecasting
• Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure compliance with company policies
• Assist in preparing reports on procurement activities and expenditures
