Job Description:
RPO Recruitment’s client are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join their team in Verulam at a food manufacturing facility. The Millwright will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency in the production process.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot machinery and equipment in a food manufacturing facility
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns
- Analyze malfunctions and perform repairs as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure smooth production processes
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Provide training and support to other team members as needed
Requirements:
- Trade certification as a Millwright
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Millwright in a food manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
