Mechanical Design Engineer / Technologist | Consulting Industry Full Time

An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join a well-established engineering consultancy’s Mechanical team based in Cape Town

Requirements: 

• BEng or BTech in Mechanical Engineering
• 3 to 5 years of relevant engineering experience — building services industry experience is essential
• Perform mechanical building services design across a range of commercial, retail, residential, and industrial projects
• Produce engineering calculations, technical specifications, and design documentation
• Ability to conduct site inspections and engage confidently with contractors and consultants on site
• Exposure to rational fire design will be a distinct advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A team player who collaborates well and contributes positively to a shared goal
• Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage tasks and deadlines effectively
• Valid driver’s license
