Site Agent/Construction Supervisor – Construction Industry Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established building construction company based in Johannesburg, delivering high-quality projects across the commercial and residential sectors is currently seeking an experienced Site Agent / Construction Supervisor to join their firm and oversee site operations from demolition through to construction and completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise daily site operations, including demolition and new construction works
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance on site
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and construction programmes
• Report progress to project management and senior leadership
• Resolve on-site issues and ensure smooth project execution

Requirements:

• BSc (Hons) degree in Construction Management with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, or
• BSc Construction Management with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, or
• National Diploma in Building with a minimum of 10 years’ experience
• Proven experience in both demolition and building construction
• Strong site management and leadership skills
• Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s licence (preferred)

Benefits:

Salary:  R540K – R660K CTC per annum, negotiable
