Maintenance Manager – Plastics Full Time

RPO Recruitment is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager for a leading company in the Plastics manufacturing sector. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of all machinery and equipment within the facility, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining a high standard of operational efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy to ensure all machinery and equipment function optimally
• Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and efficiency
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on production machinery
• Collaborate closely with production teams to schedule maintenance activities in alignment with production schedules
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues promptly
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and generate reports for management
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a safe work environment

• 5+ years of maintenance management experience in the Plastics industry
• Strong knowledge of plastics manufacturing processes and associated machinery
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical skills
• Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred
