Hydraulics Engineering Manager – Kempton Park Full Time

RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a highly skilled Hydraulics Engineering Manager to join our client’s team in Kempton Park. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineering professional to lead a team in the design, maintenance, and improvement of hydraulic systems used across various industrial applications. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the hydraulics engineering department, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of hydraulic systems for new and existing machinery
• Conduct technical assessments and resolve hydraulic-related issues across production and maintenance teams
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all hydraulic systems
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and maintenance teams to streamline engineering processes
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and technicians within the hydraulics department
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables related to hydraulic systems
• Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
• Proven experience (5+ years) in hydraulic system design, maintenance, and project management
• Strong leadership skills with prior experience managing engineering teams
• In-depth knowledge of hydraulic components, circuits, and troubleshooting methods
• Familiarity with CAD software and hydraulic modeling tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to engineering excellence and safety standards
