Job Summary:
RPO Recruitment’s client are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their warehouse facility in Alberton. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising warehouse staff, and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics and distribution processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
• Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Implement and maintain effective communication channels between warehouse and production teams.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate pricing for goods and services.
• Perform regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate logistical activities to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators to measure warehouse performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to drive operational excellence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of inventory management best practices.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
