Human Resources Manager – KwaZulu-Natal Contract

RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to join our client’s team based in Dalton, KwaZulu-Natal. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to lead and manage the full human resources function in a fast-paced and operational environment. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and HR compliance
• Support line managers in dealing with performance, disciplinary, and grievance issues
• Facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth
• Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and aligned with current labour legislation
• Manage and report on HR metrics including staff turnover, absenteeism, and engagement
• Foster a positive workplace culture and drive employee engagement
• Provide strategic input to support operational goals and long-term people strategies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or a related field
• Proven experience in an HR Manager role, preferably in a manufacturing or operational environment
• Strong knowledge of South African labour laws and HR best practices
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
