Financial Manager – Investment Management Industry – R660K – R600K Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client is looking for a Financial Manager to join their Wadeville and Conbev plants in Paarl. The Financial Manager will play a key role in ensuring the financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial health of the company while helping to drive business growth. Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead cost-effectiveness strategies for direct cost conversion, labor efficiency, and manufacturing overheads (MOH) at both plants to enhance company profitability.
• Lead the creation of the MOH AOP and quarterly forecasts, coordinating with Plant Managers and interfacing with the Central Finance Team.
• Establish, manage, and enhance KPIs, expenditure control systems, and performance reporting systems to boost material conversion efficiency and reduce overall plant spending.
• Prepare, monitor, and control direct cost budgets and standards in collaboration with Financial Planning to align with the annual business plan.
• Provide accurate plant performance indicators and information periodically to various stakeholders, including Plant Management, Executive Management, and Regional Operations.
• Oversee weekly, period, and quarterly closures to meet deadlines and hold meetings with budget holders to develop action plans for cost control.
• Manage site asset register control and related audits, working with Central Finance and Internal Audit, in coordination with the BU Finance Controller.
• Plan, establish, and manage staff performance objectives through performance discussions to enhance performance and excellence.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Finance
• Completed CIMA / CA Articles
• 5 years’ experience within the Manufacturing Industry
• 3 years’ Managerial experience within the Manufacturing Industry
• Computer Literate
• Excel Expert

Benefits:

• Salary: R600K/yr – R660K/yr, salary negotiable
