Oil Storage Warehouse Supervisor Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client is seeking an experienced Storage Warehouse Supervisor for a logistics company. This dynamic role involves leading a team responsible for handling and storing oil products. The supervisor will manage daily operations to meet company targets and customer requirements, ensuring staff adhere to health, safety, and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse space, maximize productivity, and reduce costs
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all inbound and outbound shipments
• Oversee inventory management, including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and product rotation
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
• Train and develop warehouse associates, providing leadership and guidance to foster a high-performance culture
• Work collaboratively with other departments to address any operational issues and improve overall efficiency
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on warehouse activities, performance, and inventory levels

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, preferably in an oil or automotive industry.
• Effective supervisory skills and techniques
• Proficient in data analysis, especially Excel
• Hands-on approach to tasks
• Experience managing warehouse staff and operations, preferably in automotive
• Proven leadership of diverse teams
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience
• Skilled in inventory control
• Knowledge of warehouse health, safety, and security requirements
• Understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 standards
• Familiar with warehousing KPIs and best practices
• Proficient in warehouse management software
• Forklift Truck license required
• Reach Truck license preferred
