RPO Recruitment’s client is looking for a Enterprise Risk Specialist to join their team in Hammarsdale, KwaZulu-Natal. The role is responsible for designing processes, policies, and procedures to identify and manage risks that could impact the achievement of business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Assist leadership in developing and communicating risk management policies, strategies, and risk appetite.
Establish and maintain enterprise risk management (ERM) methodologies, tools, and processes.
Conduct risk assessments and monitor priority risks across the organization.
Maintain and update the Group’s strategic risk register, ensuring effective reporting.
Oversee risk mitigation activities and evaluate the effectiveness of controls.
Manage insurance declarations, claims, and notifications to ensure timely processing.
Prepare and monitor the risk management budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Lead and develop the risk management team, driving performance and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Minimum B-degree (Commerce, Science, or Engineering) with at least 4 years of experience in Audit or Risk Management.
Strong understanding of business processes, risks, and controls with expertise in ERM.
Ability to analyze data, interpret financial information, and manage risk-related reporting.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Experience in the Poultry Production and Distribution industry is advantageous, with willingness to travel.
