Job Title: Die Setter

Location: Melbourne, Bayside

A leading manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Die Setter with strong experience in extrusion blow molding and stretch blow molding to join their team in Melbourne, Bayside. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to ensure the manufacturing of a quality bottle by setting up machines. If you have experience in setting up machines and a passion for manufacturing, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Setting up machines for extrusion blow molding and stretch blow molding.
• Performing die changes and other adjustments as needed.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure the machines run efficiently.
• Ensuring the quality of the bottles produced meets company standards.
• Conducting trade tests to meet visa application requirements.
• Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Collaborating with other team members to optimize production processes.

Requirements:

• High skill level in setting up machines to manufacture a quality bottle.
• Experience in extrusion blow molding and stretch blow molding cosmetic bottles.
• Ability to work 3 shifts: 6 am-2 pm, 2 pm-10 pm.
• A completed trade test, such as a fitter and turner qualification, is helpful for visa applications.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and quality control standards.
