Job Summary:

RPO Recruitments client, in the food and beverage industry, are looking for a highly motivated Commercial Account Manager to join their team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing key accounts within the food and beverages industry. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong sales and negotiation skills, as well as a keen understanding of the market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients in the food and beverages industry
• Identify new business opportunities and work towards increasing revenue and market share
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and quality of products and services
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients
• Provide feedback and market insights to the management team
• Attend industry events and conferences to network with key stakeholders

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or account management within the food and beverages industry
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of market trends and competitor activities
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
