CAM Programmer Full Time

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled CAM Programmer to join our client’s team in Lanseria. As a CAM Programmer, you will be responsible for creating CNC programs and toolpaths based on engineering drawings and specifications. 

Responsibilities

• Create CNC programs using CAM software based on engineering drawings and specifications
• Optimize toolpaths for maximum efficiency and quality
• Ensure CNC programs are accurate and error-free
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for CNC programs
• Collaborate with engineers and machinists to resolve any programming issues
• Perform tool and fixture design as needed
• Troubleshoot and debug CNC programs as necessary
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in CAM programming
• Adhere to safety and quality standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CAM Programmer or CNC Programmer
• Proficiency in CAM software, such as Mastercam.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and programming languages (G-code and M-code)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience with 3D modeling software and CAD software
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Minimum 3 years of experience in CAM programming or CNC programming
