Automation Programmer – Johannesburg Full Time

RPO Recruitment is seeking a talented Automation Programmer to join a dynamic team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing automated systems to enhance operational efficiency for our clients. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automation software for various applications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Test, debug, and optimize existing automation programs to improve performance.
• Document programming processes and maintain accurate records of changes made.
• Conduct training sessions and provide support to end-users.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies in automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation programming.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as PLC, Python, or C#.
• Experience with automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to travel for onsite projects.
