Accounts Receivable Clerk – Logistics Full Time

RPO Recruitment is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk specialized in logistics to join our client’s dynamic finance team. In this role, you will manage all aspects of accounts receivable related to logistics operations. Your primary focus will be on ensuring accuracy in invoicing, timely collections, and maintaining solid relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Generate and send invoices to clients based on logistics services rendered
• Track outstanding payments and follow up with clients to ensure timely collection
• Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in coordination with logistics and operations teams
• Maintain detailed records of all accounts receivable transactions
• Prepare and report on the status of accounts receivable and aging reports
• Assist with month-end closing activities, ensuring accurate reporting of receivable balances
• Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure seamless financial operations

• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or a similar role, ideally in a logistics or transportation environment
• Familiarity with accounting software and proficiency in MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and logistics operations
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in finance or accounting is a plus
