Warehouse Assistant Manager – FMCG Industry Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client in the FMCG industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Warehouse Assistant Manager to join their team in the Western Cape.

Responsibilities:

• To assist the Supply Chain Manager with the total Stock Control function
• Packing and exports for company
• Help with the day-to-day coordination of the relevant Processing, store, and packing teams toward their goals
• Oversee productivity of all team members
• Resolve any problems as they arise
• Full stock control function, packing and exports
• Effective warehouse management
• Effective Staff Management
• Financial management, reporting, and administration
• Compliance and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, Policies and Procedures

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification [e.g. Stock Control, Logistics Management, Production & Supervision studies]
• 2 years’ supervisory / managerial experience in a Food Processing / Production environment
• General knowledge of store management and stock control techniques
• Good written and oral communication skills with fluency in English and ability to write and analyze reports
• Intermediate computer literacy in all modules of MS Office and Google Suite software packages
• Results oriented with the ability to continuously meet deadlines and working under pressure
• Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills
• Able and willing to work overtime, night shifts, and have a 24/7 availability
• Valid Driver’s license and own reliable transport

• Salary: R250K/yr – R350K/yr, salary negotiable
