Assistant Planner Full Time

An industry-leading client of ours is looking for a professional Assistant Planner to join their team.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 with a good pass in Physical Science and Mathematics
• Industrial Engineering degree/diploma

Job Requirements

• 2 years experience preferably in a manufacturing supply chain environment
• Computer literacy (MS Office – Excel, Word, Outlook, Abaca, Qlikview, Shopware) – advantageous
• Must be energetic, hard-working, and able to perform under pressure
• Must be proactive, responsible, and reliable
• Forklift license – an added advantage
• Good communication skills at all levels
• Must be able to work independently
• Good administrative skills

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Support in the procurement
• Support Board Unit Planning
• Support Converting Planning
• Liaise with production regarding sales queries
• Support in Compiling monthly reports for the head office
• Support in sequencing the orders on the production systems
• Support Paper Stores to ensure paper availability
• Liaise with dispatch, production, and sales to ensure that the jobs are ready to be delivered
• Actively involved in the stock take in accordance with the accounting standards
• Attend daily Planning and Production Meetings
• Attend the weekly waste meeting
