We are currently seeking a dynamic and technically skilled VSD & PLC Sales Representative to join our client’s team in New Germany, KZN. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional with a strong background in variable speed drives (VSDs) and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support clients in automation and control system solutions. Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the industrial automation sector
Provide technical advice and support to clients regarding VSD and PLC systems
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations
Understand client requirements and offer tailored solutions
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure proper implementation of solutions
Maintain records of sales activities, client communications, and market trends
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Requirements
Matric certificate (minimum requirement)
Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field
Proven experience in sales within the VSD and/or PLC industry
Strong technical knowledge of variable speed drives and programmable logic controllers
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to understand technical specifications and provide client-specific solutions
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
