Superintendent – Mining Systems & Technology – Mining Industry – R1.3mil – R1.1mil Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client in the Mining Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Superintendent – Mining Systems & Technology in the Northern Cape. The successful candidate will ensure data integrity, interfacing and system continuity of company-wide systems to support the total value chain from the planning phase through the mining phase, production phase, load out and dispatches.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure integration between production systems and financial systems through:
• Effective planning, organizing, and control
• Providing accurate business information on costs and statistical data
• Supporting improved decision-making and business improvement
• Managing and tracking information and process performance
• Enhancing productivity and product quality
• Key responsibilities include:
• Responsible for System management and optimization
• Process management
• Plant and mining system operations
• Project management
• Reporting and data integrity
• Business information and dashboards
• Customer and stakeholder relations
• Staff supervision
• SHERQ adherence and compliance within own area of work

Requirements:

• B Degree / BTech Degree (NQF Level 7 – 360 credits) in IT / MIS / Business Systems or equivalent
• Certificate in Supervisory / Management / ARM or equivalent (NQF Level 4 – 150 credits)
• 5 years operational IT systems / data analysis / systems management / systems integration experience
• 2 years operational open cast mining industry experience
• 2 years operational Supervisory / Management stakeholder relations experience
