Job Title: Stores Administrator

Location: Maxmead, Pinetown, KZN

A leading tanks company is looking for an experienced Stores Administrator with strong experience in the management, control, distribution, and tracking of tools, materials, consumables, PPE, and fleet-related assets to join their team in Maxmead, Pinetown, KZN. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised administrator to ensure seamless and cost-effective control of physical resources and uphold compliance and readiness across both stores and fleet assets. Responsibilities:

• Manage, control, and track the distribution of tools, materials, and consumables for national and international teams.
• Oversee the management and distribution of PPE stock.
• Perform internal inspections, track, and coordinate repairs and maintenance for tools, ladders, generators, and vehicles.
• Conduct regular stock counts, manage stock returns, and process stock and equipment requests.
• Coordinate with suppliers for cost comparisons, quotations, and the delivery and collection of goods.
• Maintain safety and compliance standards for the storeroom and vehicle fleet, including documentation and inspections.

Requirements:

• Matric certificate.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in stores, logistics, or warehousing roles.
• Experience in fleet support, basic vehicle inspections, or asset tracking is highly desirable.
• Previous involvement with SHEQ compliance, inventory systems, and tool/asset tracking will be an added advantage.
• A certificate or coursework in logistics, inventory, or fleet administration is advantageous.
