Sourcing Coordinator – Retail Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-known retail company, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sourcing Coordinator to join their team. As a Sourcing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the sourcing processes and ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services for the company.

Responsibilities:

• Identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities
• Coordinate and execute the procurement process, from RFQ to delivery
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers
• Manage supplier relationships and maintain a supplier database
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their sourcing needs
• Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Keep accurate records of sourcing activities and maintain documentation

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably in the retail industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software
• Knowledge of sourcing strategies and best practices
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills

• Salary: R300K/yr – R400K/yr, salary negotiable
