Overview:
We are aiding the search for a highly skilled and experienced Operations / Plant Manager to oversee and manage all operational activities for our client’s plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations, maximizing productivity, and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. The Operations / Plant Manager will also be responsible for managing a team of employees and implementing strategies to meet production goals and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all plant operations, including production planning, scheduling, and inventory control
• Ensure that the plant operates efficiently and meets production targets
• Lead and motivate a team of production supervisors and staff to achieve high performance and productivity
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Continuously monitor and improve plant processes to optimize production efficiency and quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as procurement and quality assurance, to ensure smooth operations
• Manage the plant budget, including expenses and capital investments
• Identify and implement process improvements to drive cost savings and operational excellence

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools
• Understanding of quality control processes and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
