Job Summary:
Our client in the Packaging & Containers Industry is seeking a skilled and experienced Slitter Operator to join their team. The Slitter Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating slitting machines to cut materials such as paper, plastic, and metal into specific dimensions. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with slitting machines and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
– Set up and operate slitting machines to cut materials according to specifications
– Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate cutting dimensions
– Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain production efficiency
– Inspect materials for quality control and make any necessary corrections
– Keep accurate records of production and material usage
– Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous experience operating slitting machines
– Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
– Ability to read and interpret job orders and specifications
– Attention to detail and quality control
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred
