External Sales Rep Full Time

RPO’s client is seeking a motivated and results-driven External Sales Representative to join their team in the Parys. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys building customer relationships, thrives in a sales environment, and is committed to achieving targets while delivering exceptional service.

Duties & Responsibilities

Sales Growth & Client Development

• Develop and maintain a client database within the assigned territory.
• Generate sales from both new and existing clients, with a strong focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
• Monitor customer and market trends to identify new opportunities for growth.
• Promote and sell PPE, cleaning, and chemical products with expert product knowledge.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Provide ongoing support and resolve customer queries to maintain loyalty and trust.
• Collaborate with internal departments to streamline service delivery and enhance the client experience.

Administration & Reporting

• Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports accurately and timeously.
• Ensure all sales documentation and customer information is up to date.
• Track performance against sales budgets and targets consistently.

Minimum Requirements

• Education:

  • Matric is essential.
  • A qualification in Marketing, Business, or related field is advantageous.

• Experience:

  • 2–4 years’ experience in a Sales Representative or Sales Consulting role.
  • Experience in PPE, cleaning, or chemical products is preferred.
  • Proven record of achieving sales targets and managing customer relationships.

• Technical Skills:

  • Computer literacy in Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong administrative and reporting capabilities.

• Other Requirements:

  • Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence.
  • Willingness to travel.
