Job Title: Shift Manager

Job Overview:

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our client’s team. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the operation of the shift, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of production on the shift
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures
• Optimize production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
• Monitor production output and quality to meet company and customer requirements
• Schedule and assign tasks to production team members
• Train, supervise, and motivate production team members
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment
• Identify and address any issues or bottlenecks that may impact production
• Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Prepare and analyze production reports, including data on productivity, quality, and waste

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Sound knowledge of production processes and quality standards
• Proven ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Proficient in using computer software and production management systems
• Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as required
• Qualification in Engineering or related field preferred
