Senior Procurement Buyer Full Time

A well-established industrial manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Buyer with strong procurement, supplier management, and inventory control experience. The successful candidate will drive strategic sourcing initiatives, optimise procurement processes, and deliver cost savings while ensuring efficient supply chain operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and contract negotiations.
• Negotiate pricing and supplier agreements to achieve cost savings.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships while monitoring supplier performance.
• Oversee stores operations, inventory control, and stock accuracy.
• Manage purchase orders, MRP activities, and stock replenishment.
• Conduct stock takes, analyse inventory data, and prepare procurement reports.
• Support procurement and stores personnel while ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost optimisation initiatives.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years’ procurement and stores management experience.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and cost control skills.
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of achieving procurement savings and process improvements.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and inventory management software.
