General Manager – Operations Full Time

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in operations management in a retail setting.
• Effective leadership and management skills, with experience building and leading a high-performing team.
• In-depth knowledge of business operations management principles and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt to changing business trends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
• Ability to cultivate and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other business software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage our team of Operations Managers, providing guidance in developing and implementing efficient production processes, and promoting a positive team culture.
• Analyze and evaluate business procedures to identify opportunities to optimize performance, and propose solutions that increase efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure that our retail units are well-stocked, maintain proper inventory levels, and reorder products when necessary.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce operational costs and manage budgets effectively.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing department to determine the best products for each retail unit and develop sales projections as needed.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and ensure adherence to established safety standards and practices.
• Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring that service quality is upheld to meet company standards.
