Job Title: Senior Audit Clerk

Job Summary:
RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Senior Audit Clerk to join our client’s team. As a Senior Audit Clerk, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and auditing tasks, including preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and identifying areas for improvement in internal controls and processes.
In this role, you will work closely with clients to understand their business operations and provide valuable insights to enhance their financial performance. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, analytical, and has strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform audits on financial records and systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements to strengthen processes
• Review and analyze financial statements, invoices, and other financial documents
• Prepare audit reports detailing findings and recommendations
• Present findings to management and provide guidance on corrective actions
• Assist in the development and implementation of audit procedures and policies
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas of concern
• Collaborate with other departments to address audit issues and findings
• Stay up to date on industry regulations and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
• 3+ years of experience in auditing or accounting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
