ESG Analyst – Investments Full Time

RPO Recruitment is seeking an ESG Analyst to join our reputable client’s investment team. This intermediate role involves the evaluation and integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors across their Fund of Funds and selected direct portfolios. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical skills, capable of abstract thinking, and confident in presenting insights to clients.

Responsibilities: 

• Conduct ESG analysis and due diligence on potential fund investments and direct portfolios.
• Develop and maintain ESG scoring models and frameworks tailored to the Fund of Funds structure.
• Collaborate with other investment team members to integrate ESG considerations into investment decisions.
• Monitor and report on ESG performance across the portfolios, identifying areas for improvement.
• Stay up to date with ESG trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure alignment with industry standards.
• Prepare and present ESG-related findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Lead the development of ESG strategies and policies within the investment team.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• At least 4 years of experience in ESG analysis
• Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to abstract complex information.
• Strong communication skills, with experience presenting to clients and senior management.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and work independently as well as part of a team.
• Familiarity with sustainable investment strategies and impact investing is a plus.
