Retail Planner Full Time

RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a skilled Retail Planner to join our client’s team in Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to take on the responsibility of analyzing, forecasting, and planning retail operations to ensure optimal inventory levels and sales performance. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective merchandise plans to achieve sales and profitability targets.
• Analyze sales trends, inventory levels, and customer demand to forecast future needs.
• Collaborate with buyers and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of stock.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust plans as necessary to meet business objectives.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable insights for improvement.
• Maintain strong communication with store managers to ensure alignment on sales strategies and stock levels.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Retail Planner or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting.
• Excellent understanding of retail operations, supply chain, and inventory management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in retail planning software and Microsoft Excel.
