RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a driven and experienced Production/Operations Manager to join our client’s team in Epping Industrial, Cape Town. Responsibilities
Oversee daily production operations and manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products
Lead, motivate, and manage production staff to meet productivity and quality targets
Monitor and improve operational systems, processes, and best practices
Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Collaborate with quality control, maintenance, and supply chain teams to streamline operations
Analyse production data and prepare performance reports for senior management
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production and operations
Requirements
Relevant diploma or degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience (5+ years) in a production or operations management role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards
Demonstrated leadership ability with excellent people management skills
Sound problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Proficiency in production software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
