Pr.Eng Electrical Engineer | Building Services | Consulting Full Time

A well-established infrastructure management and engineering consulting firm based in Pretoria, is looking for a registered Electrical Engineer to join their team. This is a permanent, senior individual contributor role spanning the full spectrum of electrical building services and C&I work — from concept through to close-out — across a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, retail, institutional, and medical projects.

Requirements: 

Essential

• BEng or BSc in Electrical Engineering — engineering degree holders only
• Professional registration with ECSA — essential
• 5 to 10 years of electrical design and project experience
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Reticmaster/Powamaster, AutoCAD, and DIALux/Ulysse
• Sound knowledge of SANS building standards, including standards related to health facilities and systems
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment

Advantageous

• Knowledge of construction contracts including GCC, JBCC, NEC, and related forms
• Demonstrated experience in medical, retail, and/or commercial building services
• HelioScope and PVsyst simulation experience for solar and energy storage design
